Last Thursday, Black Wagon celebrated their 2 year anniversary. If you’re new to reading my blog, you can check out other blog posts where I’ve mentioned them, but in one word – LOVE – their kids’ clothes! They had some great stuff on sale and plus – everything in the store was discounted just for this event
Sarah Shaoul, owner of Black Wagon and her staff really know how to celebrate and make everyone in attendance feel welcome and turn on the charm! Megan Lynch, one of Black Wagon’s employees, made some yummy treats, one of which were these scrum-del-eee-ii-cious mini cupcakes – BETTER than one of the famous local cupcakes joints. Yeah, you know which one I’m talkin’ bout. You should call her up and order you some of these. She’s probably going to give me a hard time for saying that…but watch out – these things are the BEST!
DJ Cuddly Kitten was spinning the vinyl (for those of you who are too young to know – that would be ‘records’). I feel like I totally age myself when I say that but I have to admit, I owned more ‘cassette tapes’ than LPs as I was growing up.
I had the photo booth set up and while people/kids were slow to warm up, you will see that it didn’t take much to get some of these kids and adults going. I think we even had to take the remote away from a few kids that probably could have spent the rest of the night in from of the camera!
I was watching the Olympics the other night night as I was scrolling through and getting these photos ready and couldn’t resist the song by Enur from the new Target commercial. It just had the perfect beat to go along with the slideshow of the images from the photo booth. So, without further adieu…
