Ok, guess what? Yep, school started this week. That means Hallmark and every other retail store started stocking their shelves with Halloween stuff 2 weeks ago! Ha! So, I guess that means if you haven’t figured out your kid’s Halloween costume by now, that Tinkerbell costume she wanted may be sold out in size 3??? Well, maybe it’s not all that bad – yet – but you better start thinking about it.
And while you’re at it, I’m here to give you that gentle nudge to let you know it’s also time to start thinking about our holiday portraits, portrait gifts and holiday cards. The old project manager in me is coming out. You have about a 4-5 week lead time from the time you get your portrait session completed until you get your print orders back into your hot little hands! So, figuring that it’s now September, if you have your session date booked by now, you are sitting pretty and stress free. (Not to mention, if you got in on the Christmas in July deal! Sorry – too late for that special now
If you haven’t booked a session date, I would recommend you do that some time soon.
The last available session date for guaranteed holiday order delivery is Saturday, November 22nd. Any sessions scheduled after this date will incur a 25% rush fee on print orders to guarantee holiday delivery by December 20th.
There are 12 Saturdays between now and November 22nd. We have session availability on Tu, Th, Fri & Sat. I will also be having a holiday mini session day in October that I will be posting more information about soon.
