I recently had the pleasure of returning for Jack’s 6 month session. He’s another one of my lucky members of the Milestone Year Baby Plan. Somehow,  my timing of his sessions always seems to be off but he was still ready
and willing to ham it up for me even though he was ready for a nap by the time we started. He is such a cutie! I love watching how these little newbies change and grow over a year. It goes by way too fast!

This post is LONG overdue. I photographed growing Mr. Owen when he was just a wee newborn and then again just before Thanksgiving right around his 6 month mark. We are making plans for announcing our new ‘Milestones Baby Plan’ and Owen and his family are graciously participating in being the ‘samples’ for this new plan. At any rate, these images were shot just before Thanksgiving and the poor little guy had a bit of a problem with some major diaper rash. As you can see however, this apparently didn’t seem to bother him as long as mom continued to play Justin Timberlake’s, “Bringing Sexy Back”. Owen got his groove thing on and danced like a champ through the photo session.

Friends that are very near and dear to us, Danielle and Austin have had their first baby boy……Nixin. He’s so cute and tiny, I just want to squeeze him…but there’s no chunky baby rolls to pinch! Grandma got to get in on a little of the photo op since she was there. Congratulations you guys! We’re so happy for you. And yes, we will do more but you’re going to have to turn off the fans and a/c if you want him to be happy! See you soon!

It’s time to switch things up a bit on the blog and take a step back to new beginnings. I’ve been busy with high school senior photography but have also had the opportunity to photograph some really cute kids and newborns as well. Meet baby Taylor…she’s the daughter of our family friends Justin & Brenda. I had the privilege of meeting her in the hospital, right around the corner from my studio before she got home. The entire family, including Riley, the dog are settling well to the new lifestyle with baby in tow. Well……maybe they were putting on a good front, but that was my observation anyway! She’s absolutely beautiful you two! Congratulations!

And…we’re already full swing into July! After a week off with the family for the 4th of July, I hit the ground running (sort of) on Monday this week. The ‘sort of’ is because I had my times all mixed up on a Monday after a holiday weekend. I accidentally had it in my calendar that this little guy’s session was 2 hours earlier than it was supposed to be. That kind of mistake doesn’t happen with me often…normally, I’m sweating it that I might be late! Anyway, needless to say, I had a wonderful time hanging out with baby Owen and his family. He was so excited about his debut in front of the camera that he really didn’t want to go to sleep. However, we finally got him there (along with some really cute smiles; thanks to Grandma!) Here’s a quick sneak peek for you guys! I had a blast and can’t wait to see him grow!

It’s not often that I get to photograph newborns, but when I do, they’re so much fun! Especially when there are two big brothers involved to boot! I photographed this family just before the holidays when we all went Christmas tree hunting together. Unfortunately, the images are no longer on the blog since I’ve done a few upgrades, but mom was pregnant at the time with this little guy. With Spring Break and a few other planned and unplanned travels on my part, we finally had an opportunity to get together yesterday for me to meet this new little guy. I forgot how much I LOVE photographing newborns and the relationships with the family. It was such a bright and beautiful sunny day yesterday that we forgot that the guest of honor still needed the heat on to keep him warm and happy!
