This is round III for Alexxa! Her second photo shoot was a promo shoot for my intro video that is still in the works. Between my schedule and Gobo Media’s schedule, we’ve been a bit behind the 8 ball in getting that promo video done. But in the mean time, I’ve been having fun this summer with all the seniors that have been coming my way. Alexxa was once again, so easy to work with and we had a chance to catch up on all her summer happenings. As one of the Finalists for Miss America Outstanding Teen, she has been pretty busy with making appearances all summer, in addition to visiting different college campuses and getting ready to prepare all of the intricate details required in for the college application process. On top of that, she’s still finding time to enjoy her summer before she returns to finish her senior year at Oregon Episcopal School. Here’s a quick sneak peek! Alexxa I had a blast once again!

Blake is one of our Class of ’11 Model Reps. As a part of our rep program, Blake not only gets a Model Session with us in early spring but also gets to have her senior portraits taken with us again in the summer. We shot some stuff in studio earlier in the day and headed out to an extended friend’s blueberry farm for her outdoor shoot. The farm is absolutely gorgeous and has all kinds of opportunities! I could have continued shooting through the night! But the big bonus – besides being able to shoot at the farm, was I walked home with a big tray full of blueberries! I’ve got a few of these lingering on my hard drives that need to get posted to the blog. A little shoot I did for the Westview High School football seniors Class of 2010. This will go in their locker room. The boys haven’t seen this yet, so here ya go!

This post should have been a continuation of the last but wanted to keep it separate. Kendra was one of our participants in our Winter Photo Contest and won a $25 iTunes gift card and a photo shoot with her and her best friend. She chose to do her photo session with her sister Kelsey. After a full day of model rep sessions, we headed out to a bit of abnormally uncharted territory out in the suburbs. But, of course, I couldn’t resist grunging it up a bit for a quick shoot in front of the DeMarini semi for a little ‘Beauty Meets the Bat’. And…we had to go back for the bats! Despite having to turn back and forgetting that cars do travel on country roads, we made it back safe and sound just as the weather decided to turn on us! Enjoy your sneak peek!

With the Winter 2010 Olympics in full gear, we interrupt your attention to help out our high school clients with a little photo contest. We invited our 2009 high school clients to participate in a little photo contest.

I’ve been really fortunate to have sessions scheduled right at the opportune time of rain breaks. So, when Kallie and her mom came in for her session last week, I was elated and RUSHING to get out the door to take advantage of the brief dry spell we had on that day. Based on her mom’s comments, I think it will be a surprise (and a special treat) to reveal portraits of Kallie with her hair down! While soccer is life for Kallie, she is absolutely beautiful when she lets go of the soccer girl hair and let’s it down for a little relaxing stroll around the Pearl. College bound on a soccer scholarship, there are many great things ahead of this soon to be 2010 graduate! Kallie, enjoy your sneak peek!

Continuing on the same lines of building out my sports portfolio, having electrical equipment near water didn’t seem to really phase this venue. Thanks to mom for helping out and keeping us safe! And thanks to Beth for being a trooper and getting a good workout from me having her repeat the breast stroke to get some of these killer pool shots! Enjoy your sneak peek!

If you’re a golfer, then early a.m. wake up calls to tee off shouldn’t be a problem. And they definitely were not for Daniel, a golf player for Century High School. As I’ve continued to work on building out my sports portfolio, I was fortunate enough to have Daniel volunteer to do some golf sports portraits at McKay Golf Course in Hillsboro last week. We started early and am very happy we did because the sun was just coming up and the sky was absolutely perfect. It was nice being out in an environment that alluded calm and serenity with a intermittent ‘fore’ heard in the background. Daniel, you made this session really easy. Thanks for being a willing participant. Hope to see you again soon!
