In the process of trying to get myself organized and tame some of the chaos in my life, that I have of course, created on my own. I’ve decided that while I do take time to get to know my senior clients in person and over the phone and sometimes in face to face pre-consultations, I also want to have a little fun so I get to know them just a little bit better before they come to my studio. Hence, my senior questionnaires. Now, I’m not so sure my ‘guy’ clients will like these questions, and maybe not even some of the girls for that matter, but for me, it helps me bring out my client’s personality in their images if I get to know them a little (or a lot) better beforehand. So, we’re going to start doing something new.

Some of Sarah’s responses really caught my eye because I think for the first time, the answer to the ‘favorite place to eat’ wasn’t  Chipotle! Although, I do like Chipotle, I am also a closet foodie and am all about good food. So, meet Sarah…she’s smart, she’s beautiful and she’s got great taste! If you haven’t been to at least 2 of these restaurants, you definitely need to take her advice!

Nicole is one of my newest additions to the Senior Model Rep team! She endured having to deal with unsettled chaos as I settled into a new home away from home last week. (More on this later). Nicole was a blast to work with and I was happy to have her mom along on the shoot to be my assistant for the dayWhile we have a few more things planned for Nicole, you’ll have to settle for this sneak peek for now! Looking forward to some really cool, edgy sports shots with her Liberty HS cheerleader uniform later this summer!

I’m a little behind on blogging this week…actually, I’m kind of behind on almost everything this week. It’s the last week of school, and with that, comes many ‘mini’ projects leading up to class parties and end of year actvities. And, if I planned better, I probably wouldn’t be behind. Alas, I don’t plan better but here I am. 

Last weekend I had a fabulous opportunity to hang out with Maia and her best friend Stephanie (and Maia’s mom too!). I had an opportunity to play at my friend Brian’s studio  and a blast both in and outside his studio. I had a blast and I hope you did too Maia! I don’t know if I mentioned that Sean, one of my Westview Senior Model Reps is very active…both athletically and academically.

When we originally started talking about all the things he does…….lacrosse….surfing and everything in between. We talked about possibly doing some shots at a local skate park. So, I rang him last week to find out if he was still up for doing some skate park shots and he said ‘sure!’. What I didn’t really anticipate is that he was going to tell me to meet him there at 5:30 am! So, we settled on 6 a.m. instead. Little did I know how crowded the skate parks get around here when the weather is decent.

Unfortunately, he rolled his ankle about half an hour into our shoot. Hopefully he’ll be ok for his upcoming vacation, but I think we still got some good shots in just before the ‘incident’.
